Scholarship Benefits:
Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) offers three types of scholarships:
Type A:
Covers full tuition, living expenses, and provides a stipend ranging from NT$200,000 to NT$260,000. Type B: Covers tuition, accommodation, and provides a stipend ranging from NT$80,000 to NT$140,000. Type C: Offers tuition assistance ranging from NT$70,000 to NT$80,000. These scholarships are available for Master’s and PhD students, focusing on academic excellence, leadership, and societal contributions.
Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to students from around the world, except for Chinese nationals who have previously studied in Taiwan as overseas Chinese students. Whether you’re pursuing a Master’s or PhD program, your educational journey is our priority.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Undergraduate Program: Applicants must have a senior high school diploma from an overseas senior high school, or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan. The diploma must be recognized by the Ministry of Education (M.O.E.) and verified by the Republic of China (R.O.C.) representative office.
For School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a university or independent college recognized by M.O.E. The degree should be verified by the R.O.C. representative office. Additionally, if the applicant has completed studies in accordance with the regulations for international students undertaking studies in Taiwan, a certificate of enrollment via the International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher is required.
For Master’s Program:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a university or independent college recognized by M.O.E., or an equivalent educational level document verified by the R.O.C. representative office. Similarly, if the applicant has completed studies in accordance with the regulations for international students undertaking studies in Taiwan, a certificate of enrollment via the International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher is required.
