This scholarship program is specifically available to individuals holding citizenship of Cambodia.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered eligible for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of Cambodia.
- Academic Excellence: Applicants should have a distinguished academic record, demonstrating consistent excellence in their academic pursuits.
- Educational Background: For Master’s programs, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. For Doctoral programs, applicants must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- English Proficiency: Applicants must exhibit proficiency in English, validated by achieving a minimum TOEFL score (570 paper-based, 230 computer-based, 88 internet-based) or a 7.0 IELTS score.
- Cultural Adaptability: Applicants should demonstrate the potential to adjust well to a new cultural environment.
- Health and Academic Capacity: Applicants must be in good health and capable of managing a rigorous academic workload.
- Prior Experience: Preference is given to applicants with limited prior experience living or studying in the United States.

Important Dates:

- Testing: TOEFL iBT in August, GRE/GMAT in September (if necessary).
- University Placement Review: Conducted in October.
- Placement Notification: Expected in March/April 2025.
- Visa Application: Due in June 2025.
- Pre-departure Orientation: Scheduled for July 2025.
- Program Start: Set for July/August 2025.
Application Requirements:
- English Proficiency: A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 570 (or equivalent) is mandatory. It’s advisable to register for the test well in advance of the application deadline (May 4).
- Academic Records: Include official transcripts and diploma certificates with your application. Incomplete submissions will be disregarded.
- Test Fees: Applicants are accountable for covering all expenses related to English language testing (TOEFL) and other requisite exams such as GRE/GMAT.
- Online Application: Submit your application electronically through the Fulbright program website. Applications aided by translation services, editing software, or AI tools will not be considered.
- Originality: Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Truthfulness: Furnishing false or misleading information will result in elimination from the competition or expulsion from the program.
