Eligibility Criteria
- Bill Sanderson Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Scholarship
- Must be a member of VAI.
- Must be about to graduate from an FAA-approved Part 147 aviation maintenance technician school or an international equivalent, or be a recent recipient (within the last two years) of an airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificate.
- Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating Scholarship
- Must be a member of VAI.
- Must hold a private helicopter license.
- Must be enrolled in a commercial helicopter rating program at an FAA-approved Part 141 school or an international equivalent.
- Must hold at least a second-class or international-equivalent medical certificate.
- Must complete the training and receive the commercial helicopter rating within one year from the date of the award.
- Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship
- Must be a member of HAI.
- Must be enrolled in a maintenance technician certificate program at an FAA-approved Part 147 school or an international equivalent.
- Must complete the training and receive the maintenance technician certificate within one year from the date of the award.
- Michelle North Scholarship for Safety
- Must be a member of HAI.
- Must hold a commercial helicopter pilot rating.
- Must demonstrate exceptional aptitude for safe flying and aviation best practices.
- WINCO Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating Scholarship
- Must be a member of VAI.
- Must hold a private helicopter license.
- Must be enrolled in a commercial helicopter pilot rating program at an FAA-approved Part 141 school or an international equivalent.
