Scholarship Amounts for Different Intakes

September 2024 and January 2025 Entry:

  • £3,000 Scholarship: Awarded as a tuition fee discount during the first year of the postgraduate programme for eligible students.

September 2025 and January 2026 Entry:

  • £5,000 Scholarship: Available for students who meet the following criteria:
    • Completed a Bachelor’s degree with at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification, or
    • Completed a Pre-Master’s degree or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree with a comparable classification, as determined by the University of Lincoln.
  • £4,000 Scholarship: Awarded to students who:
    • Completed a Bachelor’s degree with at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification, or
    • Completed a Pre-Master’s degree or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree with a comparable classification.

Eligible Nationalities

This scholarship is open to students from African countries (excluding Egypt).

  1. Nationality: Must be nationals of, or hold permanent residence in, any African country (excluding Egypt).
  2. Offer from the University of Lincoln: Applicants must hold either a Conditional or Unconditional Offer for a full-time postgraduate taught programme at the University of Lincoln, starting in the relevant academic year.
  3. Academic Qualifications: For September 2024 and January 2025 intakes, applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification that leads to postgraduate study with a minimum of a 2:1 classification.
