About the Scholarship
The Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is available to international students who are new to studying at the University of Waikato and are coming to study in-person (face-to-face). Students who study online are not eligible for this scholarship.
This scholarship offers financial support to talented international students enrolling in their first undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Waikato. The University is excited to welcome new students and help them achieve their academic goals.

Eligibility
The scholarship aims to support international students with outstanding academic achievements who are enrolling for the first time in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at the University of Waikato.

Before you can apply for the scholarship, you must first complete an application to enrol in the University of Waikato.
3. Apply Using MyWaikato
Once you have created your account, log in to MyWaikato and click on the ‘Scholarships’ tab to view the list of available scholarships, including the Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship.
