University of Glasgow Undergraduate Talent Scholarships 2025
The University of Glasgow is offering approximately 50 Undergraduate Talent Scholarships to support students facing financial challenges in accepting their offer to study at the University in 2025. These scholarships are valued at £1,500 annually for each year of the degree program, contingent upon satisfactory academic progress. The scholarships are available to students in any of the University’s Colleges.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have been ordinarily resident in Scotland for 3 years prior to the start of the program for purposes other than studying, and be classified as a ‘Home’ student for fee purposes.
- Must hold an offer of a full-time place to study at the University of Glasgow in the 2025/26 session.
- Must be undertaking their first undergraduate degree.
- Must demonstrate financial or other circumstances that could make it difficult to take up a place at the University.
- Must provide evidence of excellent academic achievement before starting University.
Academic Criteria:
- For standard applicants, the Talent Scholarships Panel generally expects qualifications that align with their UCAS offer, typically BBBB-AABB at Higher.
- SWAP applicants require a minimum of ABB.
- University of Glasgow Access applicants must have at least BB.
- HN applicants are expected to achieve A grades in each Graded Unit.

Value: £1,500 per year, renewable for each year of the degree program, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
How to Apply:
- Apply online via the University of Glasgow scholarship portal.
- Ensure you have a confirmed offer of a place at the University before applying.
- Complete the application form, including two personal statements:
- A statement detailing your motivation and commitment to education.
- A statement detailing financial and family circumstances.
- Provide financial information, including household income.
- Upload required supporting documents.
- Include a reference from a teacher or tutor who can support your application.
Deadline: The application deadline is 11:00 pm on 1st June 2025. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
