ICT Fund Scholarship for Undergraduate 2025
The ICT Fund is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the UAE’s ICT sector. Its primary goal is to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, promote scientific and technological research, and empower UAE nationals to drive technological advancements and self-reliance in the country.
Eligibility, Coverage, and Renewal
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the ICT Fund Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Must be a UAE national.
- Program Enrollment: New applicants must apply to the Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering programs at the American University in Dubai (AUD).
- Academic Excellence:
- New students: Must have a strong academic average in their secondary certificate or equivalent.
- Transfer students: A solid academic record is required.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be no older than 24 years.

- Medical Tests: Must pass the required medical examinations.
- Criminal Record: Must not have prior convictions for crimes involving honor, honesty, or any criminal acts.

Scholarship Agreement and Conditions
Selected candidates must:
- Maintain regular attendance and achieve the minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) required by AUD and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TRA) to ensure satisfactory progress and graduation.
- Commit to working in a specialized ICT role in the UAE upon graduation.
Scholarship Coverage
The ICT Fund Scholarship offers:
- Tuition Waiver: Covers tuition fees for one academic year (two semesters) until graduation. Terms and conditions apply.
- Monthly Allowance: Recipients will receive a monthly stipend to support their studies.
Application Deadlines
- Fall Semester: Submit your application by July 25th.
- Spring Semester: Submit your application by December 15th.
How to Apply
- Apply to AUD: Begin by submitting your application to AUD to receive an acceptance letter.
- Submit Scholarship Application: Once you have your AUD acceptance letter, proceed to apply for the Betha Scholarship Program (ICT Fund).
