Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for Qatar University Scholarships:

- Eligible Countries: Open to international students worldwide
Internal Scholarships
- Must meet admission requirements for the specific college and major
- Submit a final, official high school transcript for new applicants
- Scholarship must be utilized in the semester it is awarded (students must register for and pass classes to retain the scholarship)
External Scholarships

H.H. the Emir of Qatar’s Scholarships for Academic Excellence
- Must hold a Qatari Secondary Education Certificate
- Minimum of 95% in the secondary school certificate
- Must be a recent graduate in the year of application (Fall semester only)
Outstanding Performance Scholarship
- Must be enrolled at Qatar University
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00
- Must have completed at least 30 credit hours at Qatar University
- The highest cumulative GPA students will be selected
