Degree Level:
The American University of Sharjah Scholarships for 2025-2026 are available for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
Available Subjects:
Scholarships apply to all subjects offered by the university.
Scholarship Benefits:
1. President’s Scholarship:
- A prestigious award for first-time international students enrolling at AUS.
- Covers 100% of tuition and lab fees.
- Waives application fees.
- Offers a monthly stipend, on-campus housing, and student medical insurance.
Includes three round-trip tickets during the student’s study period.
2. Chancellor’s Scholarship:
- Available for students residing in the UAE.
- Covers full tuition, lab fees, on-campus housing, and student medical insurance.
3. Merit Scholarships:
- Range from 10% to 30% of tuition and lab fees.
- Automatically awarded to students with a high academic standing (90% or higher in high school).
4. Sharakah School Scholarship:
In partnership with Sharakah schools, AUS offers a 45% remission on tuition, lab/technology fees, and on-campus housing.

Eligibility Criteria:
President’s Scholarship:
- British Qualification: 3 A-levels and 5 GCSEs, all with A grades.
- IB Diploma: Minimum of 40 points.
- American Curriculum: Minimum 98% with 3 APs at grade 5 or SAT score of 1400.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 94.
- Equivalent qualifications from other countries are also accepted.
Additional Requirements:
- A portfolio including an essay highlighting extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and community contributions.
- Evidence of scientific or literary contributions to the community.
- A 3-5 minute video explaining why the applicant deserves the scholarship.
- Two recommendation letters.

Merit Scholarships:
