What You’ll Do
As a GPU Driver Engineer Intern, you’ll collaborate with our User Mode driver engineers in London to enhance the Metal GPU drivers that drive high-performance 3D rendering, neural networks, and computational photography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize GPU drivers for Apple Silicon
- Work with Metal API and Metal Shading Language to improve graphics performance
- Build graphics debugging tools for accelerated development
- Apply knowledge of GPU architecture to create innovative driver solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Technical Undergraduate or Graduate degree
- Strong understanding of the graphics pipeline
- Experience with GPU programming (Metal, DirectX, Vulkan, CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL, or Direct Compute)
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of real-time graphics algorithms and machine learning
