The BI Presidential Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year is a fully-funded opportunity tailored for international students pursuing a master’s degree. It encompasses full tuition coverage and provides a stipend for living expenses each semester.
BI Norwegian Business School, the largest business school in Norway and second-largest in Europe, operates across four campuses, with its main campus in Oslo. The institution employs 845 individuals, including 404 academic staff and 441 administrative personnel.
This scholarship specifically targets students with an outstanding academic history, extending its invitation to both Norwegian and international applicants. It is accessible for all Master of Science programs.
Degree Level:
The BI Presidential Scholarships 2024-25, Norway (Fully Funded), are available for Master’s level programs at BI Norwegian Business School.

Scholarship Benefits:
- For Norwegian and International Applicants residing in Norway:
- Full coverage of tuition fees for each semester, up to two years, contingent on meeting academic progression requirements.
- For Sivøk Applicants:
- Full tuition fee coverage for each semester, up to two years, subject to meeting academic progression requirements.
- For International Applicants:
- Full tuition fee coverage and a stipend each semester, up to two years, contingent on meeting academic progression requirements. The stipend assists with living expenses, covering approximately 70%.
Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to both international and domestic students.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered, candidates must maintain a minimum overall GPA of ‘A’ on the ECTS scale or an equivalent top-level grade on international scales. Eligibility extends to students in the third year of the Sivøk program, candidates with Norwegian or international citizenship from EU/EEA/Switzerland, and international applicants meeting Lånekassen eligibility. Candidates admitted to a Master of Science program at campus Oslo or campus Bergen are eligible, excluding the BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing. Note: Applicants with citizenship outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland are ineligible.
Application Procedure:
- Apply for the scholarship concurrently with the admission application.
- Submit a one-page scholarship application letter explaining why you merit the scholarship, focusing on academic merit rather than financial need.
- Upload the letter to the ‘Scholarship’ section in the online admission application.
- Ensure all required documentation for Master of Science program admission is included for the scholarship application to be considered.
- BI students in their third year of the Siviløkonom program can apply in the spring of their third year by sending a scholarship application letter to [email protected] with the subject line: BI Presidential Scholarship Application.
- International applicants for the BI Presidential Scholarship will automatically be considered for the MSc International Scholarship; a separate application letter is unnecessary.
