About the Role
The position is based in the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Social Sciences, specifically within the Department of Social Economics, Chair of Marketing & Innovation. The selected candidate will conduct research while working as an academic assistant, combining doctoral studies with teaching and research responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and academic services in marketing and innovation
- Dedicate at least one-third of working hours to writing a PhD dissertation
- Teach 3 credit hours per semester in Marketing & Innovation, with a focus on services and tourism
- Analyze consumer, investor, and management behavior using empirical decision research
- Apply advanced research techniques such as multivariate statistics, text mining (R/Python), and AI-powered solutions (e.g., large language models)
- Collaborate with international research partners across Europe, Southeast Asia, and beyond
- Assist in course development, student supervision, and knowledge-sharing activities
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Educational Background
A completed university degree in one of the following fields:
- Economics
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Informatics
- Business Psychology
Additional Skills & Experience
- Strong interest in empirical research related to marketing and innovation
- A structured, independent, and self-motivated approach to work
- Familiarity with services marketing, decision-making, and innovation management
- Initial research experience and knowledge of research methodologies
- Practical experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong English proficiency for engagement in an international academic environment
