The Casement Fellowship in Human Rights 2026–27 is part of the Ireland Fellows Programme, fully funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Foreign Affairs. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Casement Fellowship 2026–27, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a Nigerian national and currently residing in Nigeria
Have at least two years of relevant professional work experience
Hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent), awarded no earlier than 2014
Not hold a master’s degree or higher qualification
Be applying for a new master’s programme beginning in August 2026
Demonstrate:

Willingness to build strong ties with Ireland
Previous Applicants: You may apply only if you haven’t applied to the Ireland Fellows Programme more than once before.
English Language Requirement
