The University of Winnipeg welcomes applications from interested and outstanding international students for their Entrance Scholarship Awards. The University offers a variety of financial supports for your post-secondary education.
These scholarships are for all students who are new to The University of Winnipeg and have not taken credits or completed a degree here before. New students can be entering any of the University’s divisions for the first time – Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, Professional, Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) or English Language Program (ELP).

Scholarship worth $48,000.
Some awards will be automatically applied based on your admission average, others will require an application. Students who are successful in receiving an application-required entrance award must register for classes in the session for which the award was offered. Only the Special Entrance Scholarship can be deferred for one year.

For the University of Winnipeg Entrance Scholarship Awards for International Students, applicants should meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be an international student;
- Entering first year of any program/school;
- Have a minimum of 80% admission average or equivalent;
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities;
- Admitted to the University by the scholarship deadline.
