FORTH Greece PhD Fellowship 2025 for FUSION Project
The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), through its Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT) in Patras, Greece, invites applications for the PhD Fellowship under the FUSION Project. This project is part of the EU-supported PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) initiative. It focuses on the physicochemical characterization of materials and water, contributing to the global effort of minimizing food loss, enhancing food security, and promoting sustainable practices in the Mediterranean region.

Key Responsibilities:
As a PhD Fellow in the FUSION project, you will:
Conduct high-level research on the physicochemical analysis of water and materials
Utilize advanced characterization tools such as TGA, XPS, and BET
Work with plasma technology setups
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary and international research team
Eligibility Criteria:
This scholarship is open to all international candidates who meet the following requirements:
Hold a BSc in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
Have an MSc in a relevant discipline
Be a registered PhD candidate at a recognized institution
Demonstrate experience with plasma technology and material/water characterization techniques
Be fluent in Greek and have at least a B2-level proficiency in English
