The University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) 7.0 is a fully funded scholarship program designed for refugee students from 13 eligible countries to pursue a Master’s degree in Italy. The initiative is backed by Italian universities, UNHCR, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese, Centro Astalli, and other partners. This program aims to provide educational opportunities for displaced students and promote higher education access for refugees.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for UNICORE 7.0, applicants must:

• Be recognized refugees residing in one of the eligible countries.
• Hold valid refugee status at the time of application.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree meeting Italian Master’s program requirements.
• Meet the language requirements specified by the chosen university.
• Be committed to studying in Italy from September 2025.
