GCUB International Mobility Scholarship Program 2025 (GCUB-Mob) — Fully Funded Scholarships in Brazil
The Group of Brazilian Cooperation Universities (GCUB) announces the GCUB International Mobility Program 2025 (GCUB-Mob), offering more than 800 fully funded scholarships to outstanding international students. This initiative promotes international academic mobility, cooperation, and the internationalization of higher education.

Benefits

Note: Travel, visa, health insurance, and other personal expenses are the student’s responsibility.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be a national of a country other than Brazil.
Not have Brazilian citizenship.
Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s for Master’s applicants, Master’s for PhD applicants).
Be proficient in the language of instruction.
Submit a research proposal aligned with the selected program.

Note: All documents must be uploaded in PDF format via the online application platform.
Selection Process
The selection includes three phases:
Phase 1: Documental Consistency Analysis (Jul 21 – Aug 1, 2025)
Conducted by GCUB.
Incomplete or inconsistent applications will be disqualified.
Phase 2: Merit and Admissibility Analysis (Aug 11 – Sep 6, 2025)
Conducted by host universities.
Evaluation based on submitted documents.
Universities will label candidates as Pre-Approved or Not Approved.
Universities may pre-approve 4x the number of available spots.
Preference may be given to geographic diversity and academic merit.
Phase 3: Final Classification (Oct 13 – Oct 17, 2025)
Managed by the Evaluation Advisory Committee (PhD holders).

Geographic distribution
Academic merit
Human Development Index (HDI) of the candidate’s country
Gender equality
Course preferences
Results Announcement
October 31, 2025: Results published on GCUB website.
Selected candidates will be notified via email.
Post-Selection Procedures
Selected candidates will receive an Acceptance Letter from the host university.
Candidates in Health Sciences must follow additional rules regarding clinical practice.
Selected students must sign and return the Scholarship Acceptance Contract within 10 days.
Candidate Responsibilities
Obtain international health insurance valid in Brazil.
Cover travel, visa, and personal expenses.
Comply with Brazilian laws and host university regulations.
Return to home country within 30 days of graduation (unless continuing studies).
Maintain valid student visa and updated immigration documents.
Notify GCUB of any international travel during studies.
Communications must be made only via [email protected].
Important: Withdrawal after contract signing without justification disqualifies candidates from future GCUB scholarships for two years and may require reimbursement of any received funds.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Host universities will monitor academic performance and well-being.
Annual reviews of the program will be conducted by GCUB and partner institutions.
