To be considered for the Western Michigan University Global Education Merit Scholarships, applicants must meet the stipulated criteria:
- Applicants offered undergraduate admission to study at Western Michigan University for the 2022 session.
- Obtained relevant certificates from recognized educational institutions.
- An international student admitted to study a full-time course in the US.
- Demonstrate outstanding educational and leadership abilities.

Interested applicants for the Western Michigan University Global Education Merit Scholarship are to apply for admission first into the Western Michigan University to study a full-time undergraduate course. Upon complete admission to WMU, scholarships are awarded by a committee on merit. No additional application is necessary.
