Google Scholarships Empowering Balochistan’s Youth in 2023
Google has recently announced the creation of 1,000 scholarships aimed at providing digital skills and knowledge to the youth of Balochistan. This initiative is expected to empower and strengthen the young people in the region.
Why Balochistan needs digital skills:
Balochistan is considered one of the least developed provinces in Pakistan, and young people in the region face numerous challenges in terms of access to quality education and employment opportunities. The provision of scholarships by Google will offer young people in Balochistan the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in a rapidly evolving job market.
The Google scholarships cover a wide range of programs, including cloud computing, data analysis, web development, and digital marketing. The program is being carried out in collaboration with the National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
To be eligible for the Google scholarship, applicants must be residents of Balochistan, aged between 18 and 35, have at least an intermediate level of education, and have a strong interest in developing digital skills and knowledge.
Interested applicants can apply for the Google scholarship by visiting the National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta website and clicking on the “Apply Now” button to complete the application form. In addition to the application form, applicants must submit the required documents, including a copy of their ID card, educational certificates, and a passport-size photograph.
With the provision of these scholarships, Google is contributing to closing the digital gap and giving the next generation in Balochistan the resources they need to prosper in the digital world.
