Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program with a major or intended major in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and planning to return to the program after completing the internship.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
- Capacity to undertake a full-time internship lasting 10-12 weeks between May and August 2024 (exact program dates will be provided later in the process).

The summer trainee program involves collaborating on a development project with a team of Googlers and fellow STEP Interns. You’ll refine your coding skills, gain exposure to various tools and programming languages, attend technical talks by executive Googlers, and be paired with a Google Engineer to guide you through your summer experience. The program also includes social activities, community building, and networking opportunities.
