Griffith University is accepting applications for International Scholarships 2023 in Australia. These fully-funded scholarships are open to all international students seeking a master’s or PhD degree, regardless of nationality.

The scholarship period is two years for a master’s program and three years for a doctoral program, and applications are open year-round. However, applicants must agree to certain conditions to apply, and PhD applicants may receive a six-month teaching extension in some cases.

Griffith University, founded in 1971 and opened in 1975, is a public education university in South East Queensland. It is ranked 1st among all Australian universities and offers advanced degrees designed to train future students in partnership with industry and taught by highly awarded teachers in Australia.

The GUIPRS scholarship covers tuition fees for up to three years for graduate students and up to two years for academic applicants. Additionally, it includes Overseas Student Health Insurance (OSHC) for the recipient and any lifelong dependents of the grant.

Scholarship Coverage:

The Griffith University International Scholarships 2023 in Australia program will cover tuition fees for up to three years for doctoral candidates and up to two years for master’s candidates. In addition, overseas students will receive health insurance coverage throughout their education.

It is important to note that the GUIPRS fee does not cover the entire cost of tuition for the program. Applicants are responsible for covering any remaining tuition costs not covered by the scholarship. Additionally, the grant requires that applicants purchase a compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover program that provides coverage for up to 42 months for the applicant and their dependents (if applicable).

Courses Offered:

The scholarship period for a master’s degree is up to two years, while for a doctoral degree, it is up to three years. In some cases, medical applicants may be granted a six-month extension. The scholarships are available for all courses offered at Griffith University in Australia.

Eligibility Criteria for GUIPRS Scholarship at Griffith University:

  1. Citizenship: The candidate must not be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or holder of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, or a New Zealand citizen.
  2. Enrollment: The candidate must be starting or enrolling in an HDR program at Griffith University, where GUIPRS funding is available.
  3. Exclusivity: GUIPRS will not be awarded to a candidate who is already receiving the same Commonwealth Government Grant or scholarship to cover tuition costs for the HDR program.

How to Apply:

Applicants who may be part of a research program, which includes a bursary submission phase, must follow the process for completing a high-level online application.

During the study and selection process, applicants may apply for consideration only twice over a five-year period. Therefore, it is important to carefully review the eligibility criteria and application requirements before submitting an application.
