Guangxi Medical University (GXMU) is offering the 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC Scholarship) for international students who want to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree in one of China’s top medical

Eligibility Criteria:

• Non-Chinese citizens with good health.
• Education and age requirements:
  • Master’s applicants: Must have a bachelor’s degree and be no older than 35 years old (born after March 31, 1990).
  • Doctoral applicants: Must have a master’s degree and be no older than 40 years old (born after March 31, 1985).
  • Applicants graduating in July 2025 must provide a Provisional Certificate.
• Must not be receiving other Chinese government scholarships simultaneously.

Scholarship Benefits:

• Exemption from application fee, tuition, campus accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance.
• Living stipend:
  • Master’s students: 3000 CNY/month
  • Doctoral students: 3500 CNY/month
• Applicants are responsible for their transportation expenses.

Application Process:

1. Create an account on the Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System, fill in the personal information, submit the application, and print the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form.
2. Submit your application online to Guangxi Medical University:
   • Visit GXMU’s International Student Information System and create a new account, then upload all application materials and the CSC application form.
   • Alternatively, email the documents to [email protected] with the subject: applicant’s full name + 2025 CSC graduate application.
3. Deadline: February 28, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
4. After submitting the documents, Guangxi Medical University will conduct a preliminary review and interviews (via telephone/online). Ensure that your contact details are correct.
5. Final selection: Those who pass the interview will receive a Pre-admission Letter and be forwarded to the China Scholarship Management Committee for final evaluation.
6. Check the scholarship results via your CSC account or Guangxi Medical University’s official website.
7. If you receive a Pre-admission Letter but are not funded by the CSC, you may still study at your own expense.

4. Notarized highest diploma (Provisional Certificate for 2025 graduates)

6. Language qualification (HSK-5 or above, unless your degree was in Chinese)
7. Study/Research Plan (Master’s: 800+ words, Doctoral: 1500+ words)
8. 2 recommendation letters (from professors or experts)
9. Publications or works (if available)
10. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (must cover all required items)
11. Non-criminal record certificate (issued within 6 months)
