Scholarship Benefits

HITSZ Entrance Scholarship

• Master’s Program:

  • Major Award: Full tuition + CNY 1,000/month stipend

  • First Award: Full tuition waiver

  • Second Award: 80% tuition waiver

  • Third Award: 70% tuition waiver

• PhD Program:

  • Full tuition + CNY 50,000/year stipend

Additional Scholarships:

• Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship:

  • CNY 35,000/year (Master’s)

  • CNY 40,000/year (PhD)

• Guangdong Government Outstanding International Students Scholarship:

  • CNY 20,000/year (Master’s)

Note: The HITSZ Entrance Scholarship is awarded during the online application. Additional scholarships require separate applications and are based on academic performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

• Non-Chinese citizens complying with PRC Ministry of Education regulations.

• Master’s Applicants: Bachelor’s degree holders under 35 years old.

• PhD Applicants: Master’s degree holders under 40 years old.

• Physically and mentally healthy.

Language Proficiency:

• TOEFL ≥ 80

• IELTS ≥ 6.0

• Duolingo ≥ 90
  Waived for native English speakers or graduates from English-taught programs.

• Valid passport (must be valid beyond September 30, 2025)

• Degree certificates and official transcripts

• Study plan (minimum 1,000 words)

• Two academic recommendation letters

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)

• English language proficiency certificate

• Foreigner Physical Examination Form

• Non-criminal record certificate

• Bank statement (minimum CNY 30,000 or equivalent)

• Application fee receipt (CNY 400 / USD 60)

• Optional: Proof of academic, cultural, or sports achievements
