HONHAAR Undergraduate Scholarship

The minister announced that the HONHAAR Undergraduate Scholarship is the largest scholarship program in Pakistan’s history, benefiting 30,000 talented students from both public and private universities.

Applicant Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Age and Domicile

• Domicile: Must be a resident of any district in Punjab.
• Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 22 years of age as of the closing date of the application.

Financial Criteria

• Family Income: The family’s monthly income should be less than Rs 300,000. An affidavit is required to verify this (download a Sample Affidavit).

Enrollment Criteria

• Academic Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled in the selected disciplines at designated universities or colleges for the fall session of 2024. Newly enrolled MBBS and BDS students in 2024 are also eligible for this scholarship program.

Minimum Academic Performance

Applicants must meet the following minimum marks criteria:

• Medical Colleges: At least 80%
• Federal and Private Universities: At least 80%
• Public Sector Universities:
  • Sciences: Minimum 75%
  • Arts and Social Sciences: Minimum 70%
• HED Colleges:
  • Sciences: Minimum 65%
  • Arts and Social Sciences: Minimum 60%
