Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the KAIST Graduate Scholarship 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- International students only (must not hold Korean citizenship).
- Master’s program: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- PhD program: A Master’s degree is required.
- Final-year undergraduate or Master’s students expecting to graduate before September 2025 are also eligible.
- English proficiency:
- TOEFL iBT: 83
- IELTS: 6.5
- TOEIC: 720
- TEPS: 326
English Proficiency Waiver: Available for applicants from English-speaking countries or those who completed previous education in English.

Required Documents
Prepare the following documents in Korean or English:
- Scanned copy of your national ID
- National IDs of both parents
- Family registration proof
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- English proficiency test results (if applicable)
- Two recommendation letters
- CV (if recommendation letters are from employers)
