Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship will cover the entire tuition fees at the standard rate of fees set by the University of Leeds. Additionally, a maintenance grant will be awarded at the standard UKRI rate, which was £17,668 in the 2022/23 academic session.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess a first-class or a good upper second-class undergraduate degree.
Candidates should hold a British Master’s degree (or an equivalent degree from a foreign university) or an equivalent professional qualification. A minimum score of 70 (or its equivalent at a non-UK institution) in the master’s degree is required, although exceptional candidates with a score of 65 and above will also be considered. Furthermore, the degree should be in a relevant academic discipline.
For applicants whose first language is not English, an English proficiency test score is necessary. The required scores are as follows:
- IELTS (Academic): An overall score of at least 7.0, with no individual section scoring below 6.0.
- TOEFL iBT: An overall test result of 100, with minimum scores of 21 in Listening, 21 in Reading, 23 in Speaking, and 22 in Writing.
