MSD Animal Health, in partnership with the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), is pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for veterinary students through 34 scholarships valued at $5,000 each. These scholarships are designed to enhance students’ academic experiences by considering merit, financial need, and geographical diversity.
Scholarship Overview:
The MSD Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship Program is available to veterinary students who will be in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of study by October 2024. Applicants must be in good academic standing and enrolled in a veterinary program accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). This scholarship is open to citizens of European countries that are members of the Council of Europe. Please note that previous recipients of MSD/FVE scholarships are not eligible to apply for this round.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must not have previously received an MSD/FVE scholarship.
- Veterinary students must be in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year as of October 2024.
- Must be currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized veterinary establishment accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) or in approved, accredited, or conditionally/pending accreditation status.
- Must be a citizen of a European country that is a member of the Council of Europe.
- Review and Selection Process
The FVE/IVSA Review Committee will oversee the selection process to ensure impartiality and fairness. Veterinary school representatives are excluded from evaluating applicants from their own institutions, and MSD Animal Health employees or contractors will not participate in the selection.

- Submit letters of recommendation from their Dean and a Professor.
- Provide evidence of financial need.
- Send all documents as a single PDF file to the FVE office by the deadline.
