Eligibility Criteria

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be an EACTS member with up-to-date membership.
  • In the final year of training or within four years post-training.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous attendance at EACTS courses or meetings.
  • Fellowship of EBCTS.
  • Experience in data quality and outcome operations.
  • Ability to apply fellowship knowledge to the home institution.

Funding Details

  • 80% of the grant is disbursed at the start.
  • The remaining 20% is released after submission of the final report.
  • Any third-party fees are deducted from the initial grant.

Application Process

Required Documents:

  • Letter of support from the Head of Department or Training Director.
  • Letter of interest outlining career aspirations and application of learnings.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Documentation of operative experience.

Guidelines:

  • Only one fellowship application is allowed per year.
  • Previous fellowship recipients (last two years) are ineligible.
  • Incomplete or false applications will not be accepted.

Evaluation:
The fellowship includes periodic feedback, structured evaluations, and submission of a final report as per Francis Fontan Fund Committee guidelines.
