Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: A first or upper second-class honours degree (or its international equivalent). Applicants with a lower second-class degree may apply if they hold a Master’s degree with a Merit or higher.
- English Language Proficiency: For non-native speakers, an IELTS score of at least 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in each component, is required.

- Begin Your Application: Click the “Apply now” button on the PhD project page of your choice to start your application. If you’re new to the system, you’ll need to create an NTU Doctoral Admissions account.
- Complete the Application Form: Provide your personal and academic information, upload your certificates and transcripts, and answer competency-based questions related to your research project. You’ll also need to upload a 1,500-word document describing your understanding of the project and proposed methodology.
- Provide Referee Information: List two referees (excluding your proposed supervisors). Make sure they submit their references by 3 April 2025.
- Submit Supporting Documents: Include certified copies of your degree certificates, academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, and any relevant professional achievements.
- Review and Submit: Carefully review your application for completeness and accuracy before submitting. Once submitted, no further changes can be made.

- February to May 2025: Applications will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
