The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) stands as a scholarship initiative that was instigated and financially backed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is administered in collaboration with Nuffic and Dutch educational establishments. The fundamental objective of this scholarship is to bolster the enhancement of skills, expertise, and excellence in individuals and educational institutions operating in higher and vocational education.

Funded by the Dutch government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Orange Knowledge Programme provides scholarships that encompass the following options:

  1. Short courses (ranging from 2 weeks to 12 months in duration).
  2. Master’s programmes (spanning from 12 to 24 months in duration).

Scholarship Requirements:

The scholarship offers funding to motivated professionals, both women and men, who fulfill the following criteria:

  • Reside and work in an OKP country.
  • Possess proficiency in English or French.
  • Operate within one of the priority sectors specified by their home country.
  • Demonstrate the intent to apply and share acquired knowledge in their employing organization post-studies.
  • Consent to the terms and requirements set forth by the OKP.
  • Display English or French language proficiency as needed.
  • Engage in studies aligned with the priority themes established by their respective OKP countries.
  • Furnish an employer statement that confirms support from their employer for the scholarship application.

  • Compile your application materials, including an employer statement, a motivation letter, a passport copy, and a government statement if required.

  • If you are a citizen of and employed in any of the following countries, you might be eligible for an OKP scholarship: Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zambia.

Application Deadline:
