Scholarship Description:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified women scientists from science and technology-lagging countries to undertake PhD research in the natural, engineering and information technology sciences. The Fellowship programme is administered with funds generously provided by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency aimed at contributing to the emergence of a new generation of women leaders in science and technology and to promote their effective participation in the scientific and technological development of their countries.

Eligibility Criteria:
For University of Glasgow African & Caribbean Excellence Award, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a UK 1stClass Honors;
- Hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught one year Masters program for September 2022 intake;
- Have International fee status.
