Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Nationality: Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
- Current Status: Not currently studying in China.
- Academic Requirements:
- Master’s Program: Hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- Doctoral Program: Hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
- Academic Performance: Demonstrate excellent academic and professional records.
- Exclusivity: Not be receiving any other scholarships from Chinese or local governments or organizations.

Required Documents
For Master’s Applicants:
- Completed CSC Application Form via the online registration system
- Notarized undergraduate diploma and degree certificate
- Academic transcripts from undergraduate studies
- A study and research plan (minimum 800 words in English or Chinese)
- Two recommendation letters from associate professors or equivalent professionals
- List and abstracts of published papers (if any)
- Valid passport copy
- Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Record
For Doctoral Applicants:
- Completed CSC Application Form via the online registration system
- Notarized master’s degree certificate and diploma
- Academic transcripts from master’s studies
- A study and research plan (minimum 800 words in English or Chinese)
- Two recommendation letters from associate professors or equivalent professionals
- List and abstracts of published papers (if any)
- Valid passport copy
- Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Record
Language Requirement:
- Applicants must provide an HSK Certificate (Chinese Proficiency Test).
- Students without prior Chinese language knowledge must complete one year of language training and pass the HSK exam before starting professional studies.
