Scholarship Description:
The Saints Sport – St Leonard’s College Masters Scholarships are open to international applicants for eligible postgraduate (taught) Masters degree programmes.
Applications are solicited from talented student athletes looking to extend their playing career, whilst continuing their studies. There are no eligibility restrictions on playing sport and representing the University whilst studying for a postgraduate qualification at St Andrews.
The level of award will be based on numerous factors related to sporting ability, attitude, potential impact and value to the specific sport/team, Saints Sport and the University.

Scholarships are not available for Masters degrees by research, doctoral degrees, postgraduate certificates/ diplomas, or distance learning programmes

Applicants must meet the entry requirements for their academic programme.
Applicants should be competing at a high level within their sport – usually national or international standard – see the Saints Sport website.

This scholarship is available for application through the Scholarships and Funding catalogue.
- If you have applied to a Postgraduate Taught course beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year, you can access Scholarships and Funding through My Application after you have applied for a Postgraduate Taught programme. You should wait until the next working day after submission before attempting to access My Application.
- If you are a current final year undergraduate student at St Andrews, you can access Scholarships and Funding through MySaint. However, you should wait until after you have applied for a Postgraduate Taught programme before doing so, to ensure that the scholarship application is associated with your prospective course.
Application Deadline:
Applications considered on an ongoing basis, so it is encouraged that you to apply as early as possible. The scholarship will close for applications at 23:59 BST (British Summer Time) on 31 May 2022.
