At Jae Lee Law Office, we specialize in immigration-related matters, providing representation to our clients. As a first-generation immigrant himself, Attorney Jae Lee can empathize with the challenges that many families face while establishing their lives in the United States. Fortunately, there are numerous opportunities available to immigrants who are willing to pursue education and employment. By doing so, they can support their families, assimilate into American society, participate in their communities, and lead fulfilling, successful lives.
To help immigrants pursue their educational aspirations, our firm has established a scholarship program that benefits first or second-generation immigrants from low-income families. We award a $1,000 scholarship to one student every semester to help them pay for their tuition or other educational expenses.
The recipient of this scholarship program will receive a $1,000 check to use towards their educational expenses.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must fulfill these criteria:
- They must be residing in the United States as either first or second-generation immigrants.
- Their family must have a low-income status with an annual household income below $50,000.
- They must be accepted for enrollment or currently attending a college, university, or graduate program.
- They must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their latest academic semester.
The deadline to submit an application for the Fall 2023 scholarship is May 18, 2023. If you have any queries regarding the scholarship, the application prerequisites, or the data that is to be provided, please send an email to [email protected].
