- Graduating from a Canadian high school
- Proceeding directly from high school to university
- Minimum high school average of 95%
- Renewable for up to three additional years provided an 80% average is maintained.
For the University of Saskatchewan International Excellence Awards:
- University of Saskatchewan International Excellence Awards:
- Open to international students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) entering any direct-entry college at the U of S
- Recipients are eligible to receive the International Student Entrance Scholarship in addition to a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship.
Regarding the International Baccalaureate (IB) Excellence Awards:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Excellence Awards:
- One-time awards
- Available to international students (non-Canadian citizens paying differential tuition) completing a full IB diploma and entering any direct-entry college at the U of S
