The Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is open to students pursuing the following degrees:

Available Subjects:
The scholarship covers all subjects taught at the University of Suffolk.
Scholarship Benefits:
The University of Suffolk will award 25 scholarships, each valued at £4,000. This scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee reduction for both undergraduate and postgraduate-taught students at the Ipswich campus. Please note that the scholarship cannot be exchanged for cash or used to cover the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) deposit, if required.
Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to both domestic and international students, regardless of nationality.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an undergraduate (360-credit) or postgraduate-taught (180-credit) program at the University of Suffolk.
Be classified as an international (overseas) student for tuition fee purposes.
Be studying full-time and self-funding their tuition.
Submit their application for the scholarship by the October 7, 2024 deadline.
Please note that this scholarship is only available to students starting their undergraduate studies in Year 1 (Level 4) and does not apply to postgraduate research (PhD/MPhil) or MBA candidates.
Application Procedure:
Eligible applicants must submit a scholarship application that highlights the following:
Academic achievements: Demonstrated excellence in prior studies, including proficiency in English.
Extra-curricular activities: A strong commitment to both personal and professional growth.
Future impact: How they plan to utilize their degree from the University of Suffolk to contribute positively to global communities.
All applications will be reviewed by a panel of University of Suffolk staff, and successful candidates will be informed within four weeks after the application deadline. Scholarship recipients are required to accept the offer by the specified date, or the scholarship offer may be withdrawn.
Terms and Conditions:
Scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee discount spread across the duration of the recipient’s study, provided they remain enrolled in their original program.
The scholarship cannot be combined with other University of Suffolk scholarships or discounts.
Scholarship recipients may be asked to participate in promotional activities, such as sharing their student experience with the university’s international team.
