Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for AUB’s Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, it is important to take note of the following requirements:
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- The program is open to individuals from the following countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and other African countries.
- Graduate scholarships are available to citizens of Africa, Lebanon, as well as refugees and displaced individuals residing in Lebanon.
- Selection and acceptance into the program are based on several factors including academic potential, financial need, leadership abilities, and a commitment to giving back to one’s community.
- Applicants are required to submit official university transcripts for all levels, complete the graduate application online, and provide two recommendation letters.
- IELTS or TOEFL scores are mandatory. GMAT is required for the MBA program while GRE is necessary for some majors under the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
- A non-refundable application fee of $50 or L.L.75,000 is also required.
