Scholarship Details:
The Scholarship offers an annual reduction in tuition fees throughout the regular full-time duration of the recipient’s course, as stated in their offer letter. The value of the Scholarship is determined based on the applicant’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or UWA weighted average mark (WAM).

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants must hold an international student status.
- Applicants must have received an offer to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia.
- Applicants must have attained an equivalent of:
- Minimum ATAR of 85.00; or
- Minimum WAM of 65.00.
- For students enrolled in an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), a WAM equivalent of over 75.00 must be achieved.
Scholarship Benefits:
Applicants applying for the Global Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students will be subject to the following conditions:
- Undergraduate students starting eligible courses in 2023 will receive up to AUD $48,000 over a span of four years.
- Undergraduate students commencing eligible courses in 2023 will receive up to AUD $36,000 over a period of three years.
- Postgraduate students beginning eligible courses in 2023 will receive up to AUD $24,000 over a duration of two years.
