The current call for applications for the National Scholarship Program (NSP) of the Slovak Republic is now open. In this article, we will provide a comprehensive explanation of this scholarship initiative, outlining its advantages and presenting a step-by-step guide to the application process.
The NSP for the academic year 2024-2025 offers fully funded scholarships to foreign students. These scholarships are available for both master’s and PhD studies, and they provide a monthly allowance of up to 734 €.
The NSP encompasses scholarships for international students, PhD candidates, university educators, researchers, and artists. The Slovak Republic’s government established this program in 2005 to promote and support the mobility of students, PhD candidates, university faculty, researchers, and artistic individuals.
Funding for the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic (NSP) is provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
The NSP plays a pivotal role in facilitating the mobility of international students, PhD candidates, university educators, researchers, and artists. It enables them to undertake scholarship stays at higher education institutions and research organizations situated within Slovakia.
