Graduate GEM Scholarship:
Scholarship Value:
Boise State’s Graduate GEM Scholarship waives the full-time non-resident portion of tuition, a savings of approximately $16,000 per academic year.
Eligibility:
Eligibility for the Graduate GEM Scholarship requires a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.30 or higher and acceptance into an eligible graduate degree program.

The Khang and Friends Scholarship:

The Khang and Friends Scholarship was established by alumnus Nguyen Trong Khang to support Vietnamese-citizen students attending Boise State University. This scholarship is awarded as a one-year scholarship and values vary according to the competitiveness of the applicant pool.
Eligibility:
The Khang and Friends Scholarship requires a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA. Applicants must be first-year Vietnamese citizens with records of academic excellence.
Consideration for this scholarship requires an additional scholarship application.
A Better Life Scholarship:
Scholarship Value:
Better Life Scholarship is worth up to $26,566 per academic year. This scholarship is renewable for four years for Doctoral degree students and two years for Master’s degree students.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, students must:
- Hold a passport from mainland China
- admit to a Master’s or Doctoral program at Boise State
- Have and maintain a 3.00 minimum GPA
Preference is given to female applicants, but all students who meet the above criteria will be considered for this award.
