Scholarship Benefits:
The HAW Hamburg Excellence Scholarships provide a minimum award of €1,800 for one semester.
Nationalities:
The HAW Hamburg Excellence Scholarships in Germany are available to international students of any nationality.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the HAW Hamburg Excellence Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be an international student at HAW Hamburg.
- You must have obtained your higher education entrance qualification from a foreign country, or you have completed preparatory studies at a German Studienkolleg.
- You must have completed at least two semesters for Bachelor’s students, or one semester for Master’s students at HAW Hamburg, and still be within the standard period of study (generelle Regelstudienzeit) of your degree program.
- You must not be receiving BAföG or any other government funding.
- Your average grade must be at least 2.2.
Application Procedure:
To apply for the HAW Hamburg Excellence Scholarship, you must gather all the required documents and upload them to the Application portal (Mobility Online) before the deadline. Please ensure that you allow yourself enough time to complete the application process.
The university will inform you about the outcome of your application within four weeks after the deadline. It is important to note that applications received after the deadline cannot be considered.
The deadline for the Winter semester is September 30th of each year.
