International Scholarship Grant:

Talented undergraduate students can avail themselves of Scholarships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for the academic year 2021.

The International Scholarship Grants (ISG) program exists to help support the travel associated with the internationalization of the university.  The primary outcome associated with the grant is the support of travel costs to present research at international venues.  Successful proposals may also support research and other scholarly projects that are international in scope and have the potential to transform the applicant’s research.  However, UWL employees may submit proposals associated with conducting scholarly endeavors abroad in a manner that maximizes the interaction between faculty/staff and the host culture/community.  Proposals must be approved by the department and dean and demonstrate that the university will realize tangible benefits.

The Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs provides funding to support the ISG. The fund focuses on international scholarly activities.
