Scholarship Description:

Treasure international awards  now available and funded by Boise State University for the students of academic year 2021-2022.

The main purpose of the scholarship program is to provide new first-year and transfer applicants who plan to commence their bachelor’s degree coursework at the university.

Boise State Institution is a public research university in the United States that was founded in 1932. There are almost 100 graduate programs available, including MBA, MAcc, and PhD programs. Many courses at BSU are designed to help you improve your abilities and achieve your career goals.

Treasure Scholarships:

Overview:

This award is renewable for up to four years (eight semesters). Both first-year and transfer applicants are eligible for the Treasure Scholarship.

The Treasure Scholarship is an automatic award. If you meet the minimum requirements and have all application materials in before the scholarship deadline, you are automatically awarded the Treasure Scholarship.

Value:

The Treasure Scholarship is valued at $8,460 per academic year.

Requirements:

In order to qualify for a Treasure Scholarship, first-year applicants must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative unweighted high school GPA (on a 4.00 scale). Transfer students must have a minimum 3.40 GPA in order to qualify.

Applicants must be in an eligible program. Ineligible majors include Radiological Science, Pre-Radiological Science, and self-supported and fully online programs.

Deadlines:

In order to qualify for Treasure Scholarship consideration, all application materials must be received by Boise State by the posted deadline.

Fall Semester: December 15th

Spring Semester: October 1


Global Scholarships:

Overview

The Center for Global Education offers the Global Excellence and Global Distinction Scholarships for new incoming undergraduate international students.

The Global Excellence Scholarship is worth up to $16,920 per academic year. The Global Distinction Scholarship is worth up to $8,460 per academic year.

Both scholarships are available for undergraduate first-year and transfer applicants. Both scholarships are also renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of study at Boise State.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for a Global Scholarship award, students must:

  • Be first-time Boise State University undergraduate degree-seeking students.
  • Have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.00 (Global Distinction Scholarship) or 3.50 (Global Excellence Scholarship).
  • Study in an eligible major. Radiology, Pre-Radiology, and self-supported online programs are not eligible for these awards.
  • Submit your admissions application, all required admissions materials, and the Global Scholarship application to International Admissions by the posted deadline.
  • Students who already earned a Treasure Scholarship are not eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship.

In addition to academic achievement, Global Scholarship recipients typically demonstrate ambitious academic or professional goals, a commitment to positively impacting the Boise State community, and the ability to overcome adversity.

Applications:

The Fall 2021 Global Scholarship application has closed. The Spring and Fall 2022 applications will be available in August 2021.

Application Deadlines:

Fall Semester: April 1st

Spring Semester: October 15th
