- Nationality: Hold the nationality of a country listed in Appendix 1.
- Financial Need: Lack alternative means of financing the study in question.

The determination of nominees for an Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship is conducted through a collaborative effort between the University of Groningen’s Admission Office and the Admission Boards of its faculties.
For consideration, applicants must have secured a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a master’s program before February. To facilitate the processing of the master’s program application by the Admission Office, candidates are required to complete their master’s application by the 1st of December. This timeline ensures adequate time for the thorough processing of applications. The final selection of scholarship recipients will be made by the University’s Admission Office in consultation with the relevant faculties.
