Scholarship Benefits
For Secondary Students
Eligible secondary students can receive $1,000 (excluding GST) for:
- School fees
- Uniforms
- Stationery
- STEM-related school trips and courses
Note: Digital devices are not included this year.
For Tertiary Students
STEM-focused tertiary students may be awarded up to $10,000 for one year of full-time study. Funding covers:
- Tuition fees
- Compulsory course-related costs
- Accommodation in university halls
- Research or fieldwork expenses (for PhD students)
Eligible Nationalities
Open to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Pacific Islands descent.
Eligibility Criteria
For Secondary Students
- Demonstrated commitment to Pacific culture, languages, identities, and communities.
- Enrolled in a New Zealand secondary school, alternative education, or homeschooling.
- Academic results and reports from the 2024 academic year.
- Enrolled in STEM subjects:
- Years 9/10: At least two STEM subjects.
- Years 11-13: At least three STEM subjects for 2025.
For Tertiary Students
- Commitment to Pacific culture, languages, identities, and communities.
- Enrolled full-time in a STEM-related program for 2025.
- Proof of enrollment.

- Complete the eligibility questionnaire.

- Agree to the declaration and upload all required documents.
