Applications solicited from suitably qualified and high-achieving students from outside the EU/EEA for the Umeå University Scholarships for the 2022-23 academic session.
Umeå University offers scholarships each year, in conjunction with the Autumn semester admission to students in the form of full or partial waiver of the tuition fee.

The Umeå University Scholarships for International students provides financial assistance in the form of full or partial tuition waivers for the students enrolling in a master’s programme in the University. The Erling-Persson Scholarship for International Students in Public Health provides full tuition waivers as well as an allowance of SEK 3000 per month to 8 new students to study public health at the University.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Scholarships for Non-EU/EEA Students 2022, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of a country outside of EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- Must have applied for admission to study public health or other eligible courses at the University
- Have the University programme as priority 1 at the University Admissions website.
Application Procedure:
When the application form opens, eligible students will receive an e-mail with application instructions. Only applicants with a Umeå University program as priority 1 or second year master students at Umeå University; (i.e. students who are currently in their first master year) are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
