The Jilin Provincial Government Scholarship at Yanbian University offers numerous benefits to international students pursuing master’s degrees. The scholarship covers a maximum of two years and includes:

  • Tuition and Accommodation: Tuition fees are waived, and accommodation fees for a double room are covered for the entire two-year scholarship duration.
  • Living Allowance: Recipients receive a monthly living allowance of 1,700 yuan to help with living expenses during the scholarship period.
  • Basic Medical Insurance: Basic medical insurance is provided for the duration of the scholarship.

Please Note:

  • The scholarship only covers expenses for the two-year funding period. Any costs incurred beyond this timeframe are the responsibility of the student and will be charged according to the same standards as for self-funded students.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities, except Chinese citizens.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • Age: Applicants must be under 35 years old at the time of application.
  • Chinese Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum level of Chinese proficiency equivalent to the new HSK level 5 or a comparable standard.

Required Application Documents:

  2. Notarized Academic Certificates: Provide notarized copies of your highest level of academic certificates.

Selection Process and Notification

  • All application materials must be submitted in Chinese or English. If your documents are in another language, include a notarized translation in Chinese or English.
  • Yanbian University graduates are not required to submit graduation certificates and transcripts.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected and will not be returned.
