Scholarship Description:
The University of Queensland is pleased to offer Destination Australia Scholarship for suitably qualified international Students who wish to enroll in a degree program at the University. This scholarship award is available for international students enrolling for full-time studies at the University.
This scholarship awards focuses on academic excellence, experiences and employability. The program covers the maximum duration of four (4) years, applicable to undergraduate and post-graduate students.

The University of Queensland Destination Australia Scholarship has the following programs of study starting in 2022 academic session: Bachelor of Agricultural Science; Bachelor of Equine Science; Veterinary Science (Honors); Bachelor of Veterinary Technology; Bachelor of Wildlife Science; Master of Agribusiness; Agricultural Science; Master of Animal Science.

Up to AUD $15,000 per year of study

Eligibility Criteria:
Interested applicants seeking for University of Queensland Destination Australia Scholarship are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must be an international student
- Must hold a student visa for the scholarship’s duration
- Applicants must be a new UQ student
- Must be UQ alumni commencing a different program (for example, Master’s after completing a Bachelor’s degree)
- Must have a full offer to study an eligible program delivered entirely at the UQ Gatton campus in 2022.
- Applicants must be willing to study full-time via Internal study mode at UQ’s Gatton campus for the scholarship’s duration
- Must reside in a regional area of Australia for the scholarship’s duration as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure 2016 (Australian Bureau of Statistics)
