Degree Levels and Duration:

Master’s Degree Programs typically have a duration of 3 years, though certain schools and majors may vary:

  • 2 years: School of Management, School of Instrumentation Science and Engineering, School of Life Science and Technology.
  • 2.5 years: Faculty of Computing, School of Architecture.

Doctoral Degree Programs generally span 4 years.

Scholarship Benefits:

Coverage under this scholarship includes:

  • Tuition Fee
  • On-Campus Dormitory
  • Monthly Living Allowance (Note: Stipends are not issued before arrival at the university.)
    • Master’s degree students: CNY 3,000/month
    • Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500/month

Eligibility Criteria:

Basic Requirements:

  • Citizenship outside the People’s Republic of China.
  • Good mental and physical health.
  • Compliance with Chinese laws, university regulations, and guidelines.
  • Ineligibility for concurrent receipt of multiple scholarships.

Other Requirements:

  • For Master’s degree: Bachelor’s degree holder under 35. For Doctoral degree: Master’s degree holder under 40.
  • Language proficiency:
    • Chinese-taught programs: HSK level 4 ≥ 210 scores (valid for two years).
    • English-taught programs: TOEFL ≥ 78 scores, IELTS ≥ 6.0 scores, or an equivalent English proficiency certificate.
  • Submission of documentation demonstrating outstanding academic achievements, participation in sports, arts, cultural exchanges, public welfare activities, etc. (optional).

Application Procedure: Notarized documents in English or Chinese are required for the application process. These include:

  • Valid Passport (valid until September 2025)
  • Highest Graduation Certificate
  • Copies of Academic Transcripts
  • Language Proficiency Certificate
  • Study Plan (Minimum 1,000 words for doctoral applicants)
  • Two Recommendation Letters
  • Physical Examination Record
  • Bank Receipt of Application Fee: USD 60 or CNY 400
  • Non-Criminal Record Report
  • Acceptance Letter (Optional)
